Qualigens DPX Mountant is a non-aqueous, synthetic resin medium for mounting histological specimens on microscope slides, providing a clear, durable, and long-lasting solution for preserving stained tissue samples like those stained with H&E, Nissl, or Masson-Goldner. A mixture of distyrene, a plasticizer (typically dibutyl phthalate), and xylene, it replaces older media and is known for its effectiveness in keeping stains bright and allowing for clear visualization of cellular structures under a microscope.
