It contains acriflavin hydrochloride (12.5 mg12.5 mg12.5 mg) and nalidixic acid (10 mg10 mg10 mg) to inhibit gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, respectively, and is used with Fraser Broth Base. Key Features and Directions: 
  • Purpose: Specifically recommended for selective enrichment and identification of Listeria species.
  • Composition (per vial): Acriflavin Hydrochloride (12.5 mg12.5 mg12.5 mg); Nalidixic Acid (10 mg10 mg10 mg).
  • Usage: One vial is sufficient for 1000 ml1000 ml1000 ml of medium (rehydrate in 10 ml10 ml10 ml sterile distilled water and add to 990 ml990 ml990 ml cooled base broth).
  • Compatibility: Works with Fraser Broth Base M1327 or Modified Fraser Broth Base M1764.
  • Storage: Store at 28C2 minus 8 raised to the composed with power C28C.
