HiMedia PALCAM Selective Supplement (FD061) is a lyophilized, antimicrobial mixture used to enhance the selective isolation and identification of Listeria monocytogenes. It consists of Polymyxin B sulphate, Ceftazidime, and Acriflavine hydrochloride, specifically designed for use with PALCAM agar or broth base to inhibit non-Listeria flora. • Usage: One vial is typically used for 500 mL500 mL500 mL of molten, cooled (4550C45 minus 50 raised to the composed with power C4550C) agar or broth base.
• Compatible Bases: Listeria Identification Agar Base (PALCAM) (M1064), HiVeg Agar Base (MV1064), and Broth Base (M1090).
• Storage: The lyophilized powder should be stored as per manufacturer instructions for maximum stability.
