    • Intended Use: Used to determine bactericidal vs. bacteriostatic properties by neutralizing active chemical residues on surfaces or in solutions. [1, 2, 3]
    • Active Neutralizers: Contains lecithin, polysorbate 80 (Tween 80), sodium thioglycollate, sodium thiosulphate, and sodium bisulphite. [1]
    • Spectrum: Neutralizes quaternary ammonium compounds, phenolics, iodine, chlorine, mercurials, formaldehyde, and glutaraldehyde. [1]
    • Indicator: Includes bromocresol purple and dextrose to monitor fermentation and pH shifts (color changes from purple to yellow when organisms grow). [1]
    • Preparation Formula: Typically suspended at 39.02 grams per 1000 ml of distilled water, then autoclaved at 15 lbs pressure (121C) for 15 minutes. [1]
